Believers equipped to share Good News! |
Good News Co. was honored this month to be the official evangelism trainer for Charlotte’s Seek and Save outreach event. Seek and Save is sponsored by the national office of the Assemblies of God and has selected Charlotte as a target city for ministry. This outreach will partner with 30 area churches, 3 host sites for block parties, and give away 15,000 bags of groceries thanks to Convoy of Hope. Nearly 100 people came out on Saturday to learn how to engage in spiritual conversations. Here’s what they said:

1. First Training exceeded expectations.
Who knew that so many people would be so excited about sharing their faith? When people realize that it’s not their job to save people, the pressure is off and it’s so much easier to share the Good News. More trainings are scheduled for later this year. Schedule yours TODAY.
2. Seek and Save Outreach and Evangelism Event
If you’re near the Charlotte area from Feb 5th -10th, consider attending the city-wide event. If believers have something to invite an unbeliever to, they are significantly more likely to extend an invitation, offer to pray, and share the Gospel with that person. Seek and Save is that opportunity for you or your church.
Not in the Charlotte area? Create your own block party or event and give this a try in your area. Ask Good News Co. how we can help! (We’ve got ideas ☺️)
3. Partnerships are key to success
We were so excited to partner with Brayden Frasure for an outreach to those experiencing homelessness in Hickory, NC. Brayden is an actor, singer, and all-around great kid. When he’s not in films with Tom Hanks and Scarlett Johansson, or singing and filming with his music group, MusicClubKids, you might find him with his Little Red’s Wagon, a feeding ministry to the homeless.
As temperatures fall well below freezing, several organizations including Good News Co., Little Red’s Wagon, Grace Church, Shai Ministries, and the Salvation Army partnered together to provide basic needs to vulnerable people. We distributed coats, winter clothes, blankets, tents, hand warmers, and food. We also prayed with everyone and shared the Good News of Jesus with everyone there. Good News Co. looks forward to partnering with Brayden and others to maximize our impact and make an even bigger difference together.
